Mille Baci

small batches 100% natural

From fruit to the lid.

Ice cream with geography and character is not made in a hurry. It is made the way a good story is told: slowly and in order

A short history

Recipes were a secret

In the 18th century ice cream recipes were not public. They were kept in royal kitchens, passed on in whispers and measured in trust, not grams.

We honour that tradition in reverse: the recipes are ours, but the door is not locked. Everything we do can be seen, smelled and tasted.

How it is made

Four steps, zero shortcuts

  1. Raspberries in gloved hands

    The fruit chooses us

Everything starts with the fruit we pick: the rest is just process. With fruit flavours there is no hiding, so a raspberry must be a raspberry even before it becomes ice cream.

  2. A fresh ribbon of gelato from the machine

    Small batches, every day

Gelato is made in small batches the machine writes out like a ribbon. The difference is in the details: from the way it is processed to the temperature at which the flavour speaks loudest.

  3. The finishing stroke

Olive oil from the south over the gelato, hinterland honey in the base, fig where a fig belongs. Ingredients that know the sun, the stone and the silence of Montenegro.

  4. A hand closes the lid

Packed by hand, one by one. That is why the lid says home and hand made: hands made it and closed it, and yours open it.

Olive from the south. Honey from the hinterland.

We did not play with flavours and we did not go far: our ideas grow here, in the shade of an olive tree, in the stone, in a lemon from a small garden. Un limoncello, per favore.

No preservatives. No shortcuts. No hurry.

That is the price of a taste that is remembered: 100% natural, no artificial colours and no fine print. If we would not give it to our own children, we do not pack it for you.

The difference is in the details
